The NEWh3re concom is delighted to announce our 2022 Song Contest!
This year, once again the winner will be determined by popular vote. We will be collecting submissions to the song contest before the con, and voting will take place Friday (June 10) and Saturday (June 11) during the con. UPDATED: Submissions have been extended through to 11:59 PM Eastern time Saturday (June 11), with voting to open Sunday morning. The winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremonies.
The theme for this year’s contest is: “Third Time’s the Charm”!
Rules for Contestants:

- The deadline for submitting entries to the song contest is now Saturday June 11, 2022, 11:59 PM Eastern time. Entries may be submitted beginning now.
- Submissions should be sent to nefilk.tech@gmail.com. Each submission must include a lyrics sheet and may be accompanied by a link to a video or audio recording (or by an attached recording if the contestant has no way to host it elsewhere). If a recording is included, it does not need to be performed by the same person who wrote the song.
- To be submitted for this contest, a song must have been written within the past year (i.e., completed since the end of NEWhere 2021), and must be either written or co-written by an NEWh3re 2022 attendee. (Partial attendance counts.)
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- The winning entry will be determined by popular vote. See below for details.
Rules for Voters:

- A list of all entries for the song contest will be posted on the nefilk Discord server and on the nefilk.us website by (at the latest) 1:00 AM Eastern time on Sunday June 12, in the form of a Google Doc. The list will include links to the lyrics, the recordings where applicable, and the ballot form to be used in voting.
- All attendees, including partial attendees, of NEWh3re 2022 are eligible to vote. This includes contestants, who may vote for their own entry if they so choose.
- The deadline for voting in the song contest is Sunday, June 12, 2022, 2:00 PM Eastern time.

I don’t think so, unless it’s last year’s— in which case it’s pretty useless except archivally, not something to trumpet right now. You do know, I assume, that today— well, the day I saw that and am writing this— is June 8.

Where are you looking? There’s no reference to a schedule grid on the page where you left the comment. The schedule page is at https://www.nefilk.us/?p=203 and has links to this year’s schedule. Is something out of date?
Are the entries listed on the web site? It says they will be, but I can’t find them. Do you have to join the discord to vote? Thanks.
